Swedish Customs is efficient, transparent and highly digitalized, with extremely strict compliance rules focused on product safety, environmental standards and tax accuracy.

Customs Clearance & EORI:Valid EU EORI number required. We provide electronic customs clearance at all Swedish ports.

VAT & Tax Representative:Standard 25% Swedish VAT applies. Eligible importers may apply for VAT deferment via a Swedish tax representative. Non-EU companies with ongoing Swedish tax obligations are strongly advised to appoint a local tax rep for full compliance.

Compliance & Labeling:CE marking mandatory. Strict EU/Swedish environmental, energy, and chemical rules apply. Swedish labeling recommended; English accepted except for food & energy labels (must be in Swedish). Regulated products (pharma, medical devices, food, chemicals) must comply fully.
